SOF - Postmortem, 2025
Postmortem is composed entirely of original material and is structured in two distinct yet interrelated movements. The first, a 21-minute piece, forms the primary body of the work, an immersive sonic environment marked by abrasion and disturbance. It is then momentarily fractured by the arrival of Lub, the first officially released single and namesake of the forthcoming LP. This bifurcated structure enables the listener to engage with the work as a dialectical space: a condition and its reaction, a convulsion and its resolution, or perhaps more precisely, a realisation followed by an individual awakening. Each part is linked by an impenetrable compositional logic, suggesting both rupture and continuity, destruction and emergence.

Conor Ackhurst - Dash Cam Comp. - Fade to Black, 2022
Conor Ackhurst’s 2023 CIRCA Prize finalist film, screened at Piccadilly Circus and major public sites in Berlin and Milan, offers a striking meditation on hope amid existential dread. Exploring themes of obsession, fetishisation, and mortality, the work blurs the line between denial and belief, proposing a form of hope rooted in vulnerability rather than certainty. Through digitally animated car seat fragments suspended in a void and the mechanical rhythm of faltering pistons, the film evokes both destruction and the possibility of renewal, inviting viewers to consider resilience as something forged within shared fragility.
